Physics seeks to answer the biggest questions in the Universe: How did the Universe begin? What is matter made from? How do stars, planets and galaxies form? How can technology transform our future?

A-level Physics develops your understanding of the fundamental laws that govern everything from subatomic particles to the largest structures in space.

It is a challenging and highly respected qualification that develops mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, problem-solving and practical investigation skills valued by universities and employers alike.

'The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

SUBJECT EXPERTS

Genevieve Millard.jpg

Dr. Millard, Subject Lead

Dr. Millard is an atmospheric scientist whose doctoral research at the University of Cambridge masterfully bridged atmospheric chemistry and physics.

Expert in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and radiative forcing, she simulated how volcanic particulates interact within the stratosphere.

She translates complex mathematical physics into accessible concepts for A Level students, maintaining an elite track record of mentoring applicants to successful placements at Oxford and Cambridge.
