ASSESSMENT 

  • Three written exams at the end of Year 13 equating to 70% of the total mark 

  • Practical performance in one approved sporting activity equating to 15% of the total mark 

  • Task where candidate will perform an analysis task of a peers sporting performance equating to 15% of the total mark

Mr Wilson, Subject Lead

Mr Wilson – BA (Hons) degree in Sports Management. Is an expert in Sports Psychology and has 10 years' experience of teaching A-Level PE.

Past students have gone on to study Sports Science, Physiotherapy and Physical Education at Universities such as Bath and Loughborough.

Ms Diss – BA (Hons) degree in Physical Education and Sport. Is an expert in sport and exercise science with a level 3 qualification in Sports Therapy.

10 years’ experience of teaching A-Level as well as being the lead teacher for A-Level PE. A postgraduate Award in Careers helps support students on their next steps.
